A people first advocate, Melanie Levesque lives her life by the motto: “service to others.” Born and raised in Nashua, Melanie is a lifelong member of Senate District 12. Currently a resident of Brookline, Melanie lives with her husband, Scott.
Levesque is the founder and president of TCS of America Enterprises, a small communications consulting business. Levesque founded her small business after earning her A.A. from New Hampshire Vocational-Technical College, B.S. from Daniel Webster College, and M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University.
In addition to running a successful business, Melanie never shies away from rolling up her sleeves to get things done for her community. As a three-term New Hampshire State Representative and one-term State Senator, Levesque has proven her commitment to service. In Concord, Senator Levesque chaired the Senate Election Law Committee - championing voting rights, safe & secure elections, and advocating for the modernization of voting systems and advancing commuter RAIL. Melanie also sponsored and passed bills to make Juneteenth a state holiday, and put into law the official recognition of Opioid Awareness Day.
While Melanie wasn't in office, she stayed busy at work within her community. Levesque serves on the Board of the NH Women’s Foundation, the Board of NH Civics, and she is a Trustee for the Town of Brookline. She also served as an Advisory Committee Member for New Hampshire Endowment for Health, Deacon and Trustee for the Brookline Community Church, and Secretary on the Hollis Brookline Coop Schoolboard.
Over the last two years, Republicans worked to reverse much of our hard earned progress. It’s time for Melanie to return to the Senate and continue her fight for strong public schools, voting rights, and an economy that works for everyone.
